finally, after 2 weeks...

Wow. It's been a lonnng time since I last blogged.
Let's have a recap of what happened...

• So I went to the park with Andrew on Wednesday, August 12th. His surprise was a picnic :) Cutest thing I've ever seen. We talked, and kissed, and just hung out for 3 hours. Then it was time for him to go. After that, I never thought anything better could happen.
• A few weeks before the picnic, an old friend Donovan messaged me on MySpace. I thought nothing of it. We talked about me going to the church picnic with my friend Taylor that Sunday (August 16th) and I agreed to go. At this point, I kinda figured that Donovan liked me, so I decided to tell him about Andrew so he would have no intentions of flirting with me at the picnic. I told him, and all went well. The picnic was tons of fun, and I got to see my old friends again. Then when we went back to Taylor's house that night, she told me that I was being flirty with Donovan at the picnic. I didn't think I was, but I decided to tell Donovan what she said to see what he thought about it. He thought she was being ridiculous, and that we weren't flirting at all. Then one thing led to another, and we were flirting over text message. By the next day, I had a crush on him.
• Fast forward through the week: I talk to both boys, flirting with both of them. Donovan knows about Andrew, but Andrew doesn't know about Donovan. I tell myself that I really like both of them, but that I will be able to make a decision. If only it were that easy...
• Friday the 21st rolls along, and it's Disneyland day! Me, Megan, Cari, Nick, and Andrew all get in the car, and we're on our way. Long story short, Andrew makes his feelings for me apparent with the way he holds me & kisses me, but I'm still feeling guilty about the whole situation. After a while, I can't take it any longer. Megan asks me what I'm doing, and I tell her about the Andrew/Donovan scenario. She gives me advice to pick Andrew. But I also made a promise to Donovan that I wouldn't forget about him so easily.
• The next morning, I finally tell Andrew about Donovan. He seems confused & more than a little upset. He keeps telling me about how big of a mistake it was letting me get away once, and he was determined not to let it end this way. I didn't have the heart to tell him, but I knew my mom wouldn't let me date him again. Not after what he put me through the first time. When I finally did tell him that, he refused to let it faze him. He would not let me go. Which I both admire and despise...
• So this afternoon, Andrew stopped by my office on my lunch break. He brought Wendy's chicken nuggets, which he knows I love, and frosties. We sat and talked for about 30 minutes until my boss told me that I had to come back in while another coworker stepped out for lunch. Before I left, Andrew told me he had a surprise for me. He opened the trunk of his car, and wrapped in a bag was his favorite flannel shirt. I almost cried. He told me that he was going to bring flowers or something, but he thought the shirt would last longer and he always wanted me to have something to remember him by. Honestly, how sweet is this kid?

So that's where I am now. In this big mess with two boys who really love me, under different circumstances. And i can't ever seem to make the right decision. I went from having no guys at all, to having 2 incredible boys who I can't decide between. And I'm starting to think the former is better...
